About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer to join our team at Assystem, a global leader in accelerating the energy transition. As a Process Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and developing advanced thermal systems for our cutting-edge projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Innovation: Contribute to the design of complex thermal systems, utilizing your expertise in thermal and fluid dynamics to create innovative solutions.
  • Analysis and Calculation: Perform in-depth analysis and calculations to ensure the optimal performance of our thermal systems, leveraging your knowledge of Eurocode 3 and DNV standards.
  • Leadership and Collaboration: Work closely with our cross-functional team to develop and implement thermal-hydraulic models, using advanced software tools and methods to demonstrate system performance.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Master's degree in a relevant field, preferably with a focus on thermal systems engineering.
  • Skills and Experience: Expertise in checking and approving engineering CAD assemblies, General Arrangement/fabrication drawings, and detailed engineering documents. Proficient in reviewing engineering documentation, including manual calculations and reports. Advanced Finite Element Analysis (FEA) skills, with in-depth knowledge of ANSYS Workbench a plus.
  • Additional Requirements: Permanent staff position, BPSS and SC clearance required, and experience working on major projects for UK and international Nuclear clients.
