Field Service Engineer Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team at Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining our clients' foundation piling and drilling equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Servicing TTC controllers and performing fault finding using pressure gauges
  • Input and output testing, as well as machine diagnostics
  • Commissioning of equipment, assembly, testing, and training of operators
  • Servicing of equipment, filters, oils, and other maintenance tasks
  • Assistance to dealers and customers by telephone and email
  • Machine reconditioning in our workshop
  • Maintenance of our workshop and yard
Requirements:
  • 3+ years' experience in a similar position
  • Minimum NVQ level 2 in heavy plant mechanics/ plant maintenance/ piling rigs or similar
  • Ability to read electrical and hydraulic schematics
  • CSCS card and IPAF desirable
  • Must live within 1 hour of Aylesbury
Remuneration:
  • Salary: £38,000 - £55,000
  • Working Hours: 8-5:30
  • Holiday Package: 25 days + 8BH
  • Overtime paid from door to door
  • Occasional nights away at short notice (could be up to 4 nights a week) around the UK and Ireland
  • Cost covered when staying away
