Position Title:
Special Educational Needs (SEN) Educator

At Remedy Education, we collaborate closely with educational authorities and institutions to deliver tailored educational support for children with unique learning requirements.

We are currently seeking dedicated educators in the surrounding areas who possess the necessary qualifications and experience to instruct SEN students across various educational stages.

Instruction typically occurs in-person at students' residences, in community libraries, or occasionally through virtual platforms.

We are in search of educators who are deeply committed to fostering learning and development in children with diverse educational needs.

Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in teaching or tutoring within the UK educational system.
- An enhanced DBS check, ideally registered on the update service (if not, candidates may apply for one through Remedy, though this may extend the registration timeline).
- A UK-recognized teaching qualification, such as PGCE, B.Ed, or QTS.
- Innovative and resilient educators capable of engaging students who may have distanced themselves from traditional educational environments.
- A strong understanding of and sensitivity towards working with vulnerable youth, including those in care and those with SEN.
- Knowledge of positive behavior strategies and experience in assisting children with emotional self-regulation.

Employment Type:
Part-Time/Full-Time

Compensation:
£25 - £35 per hour, commensurate with experience.
