Accountable Recruitment is excited to present an exclusive opportunity with a prominent organization located in Merseyside. Our esteemed client is seeking a seasoned Tax Strategy Manager to join their dynamic and expanding team.
In this pivotal role, you will report directly to a distinguished Group Head of Tax, Treasury, and Financial Compliance. Your responsibilities will encompass overseeing daily operations, including all facets of tax and treasury functions. You will confidently engage with various business divisions, addressing and advising on tax-related inquiries for both UK and international business units, encompassing direct, indirect, and employment taxes. This group comprises multiple entities, presenting key tax risks and opportunities where your expertise can make a significant impact.
We are in search of candidates who possess exceptional communication skills and are adept at discussing tax matters with non-tax stakeholders at senior and board levels. This position will offer a diverse range of responsibilities, blending tax compliance with advisory work.
Essential Qualifications:
- Preferably, you will hold a Full Qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CTA), although candidates with substantial tax experience who are qualified by experience will also be considered.
- Capable of working autonomously and taking ownership of workstreams in a fast-paced setting.
- This role is expected to evolve, and we seek candidates who are dynamic, experienced, and able to assist with both hands-on tax issues and strategic tax initiatives.
