We are seeking a skilled and confident Maintenance Automation Specialist to join our client's dynamic team at their busy distribution centre. As a key member of the Automation team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of automated systems and equipment.

Working in a fast-paced environment, you will be tasked with following a planned maintenance schedule and responding to breakdowns to minimize downtime. You will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of machinery, including state-of-the-art material handling equipment, automated storage retrieval systems, and conveyor systems.

This is a physically demanding position that requires you to work at height, but you will receive full training on safety procedures when you join the business. As a Maintenance Automation Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Planned Routine Maintenance: Ensure that all automated systems and equipment are properly maintained and serviced.
  • Breakdown Response: Respond promptly to breakdowns and take ownership of issues to minimize downtime.
  • Attention to Detail: Maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure that all tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
  • CMMS Use: Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track and manage maintenance activities.
  • Service and Repair: Perform service and repair tasks on equipment and systems as required.
  • Health and Safety: Adhere to health and safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Continuous Learning: Be willing to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures.
