Job Title: Apprentice Air Conditioning Engineer

At Topaz Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Ltd, we are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Apprentice Air Conditioning Engineer to join our team. As an Apprentice Air Conditioning Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting our experienced engineers in the maintenance, service, and installation of air conditioning and refrigeration systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the maintenance and service of air conditioning and refrigeration systems, including routine checks and repairs.
  • Participate in the installation of new air conditioning and refrigeration systems, working closely with experienced engineers.
  • Conduct planned and reactive maintenance tasks on a variety of plant equipment and commercial industrial service supplies.
  • Record all asset-related data, ensuring accuracy and integrity of the data collected.
  • Identify and report all associated issues and measures required to fix or supply parts from van stock or ordering.
  • Undertake all duties in a safe, tidy, and responsible manner, in accordance with H&S requirements and Topaz Quality, environmental, and Health & Safety Procedures.
Requirements:
  • Full driving licence essential.
  • Qualifications in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration, i.e., NVQ, C&G level 2 or 3, F-gas j11 or equivalents.
  • Attention to detail, team player, with a flexible working attitude.

  • Hours: 40 per week, Monday - Friday.
  • Limited overtime availability expected on some out of hours sites maintained.
  • Holidays: 23 Days as standard; bank holidays are not included.
