Job Summary

Morson Talent is seeking a highly experienced Configuration Engineer to join our team. As a Configuration Engineer of proven experience, preferably within the Defence and Aerospace Sector, you will be required to discharge the 5 key Configuration activities into IPT's across all lifecycle phases of a Programme.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clear direction into the IPT on Configuration Management processes and tools, including System Requirements, System level, Software, modelling, or hardware.
  • Drive a proactive approach to Configuration Management into IPT's, including Configuration Management Planning, Configuration Identification, Change Control, and Configuration Status Accounting.
  • Work hand-in-hand with our engineering delivery teams to ensure the Project dataset is maintained and configuration controlled.
  • Develop and maintain a good understanding of Configuration Management in accordance with DEF STAN.
  • Utilize Product Management Tools, including Teamcenter version 13 (Unified) and SAP.

Requirements

  • Excellent practical understanding of the five key elements of Configuration Management: Planning, Identification, Change Management, Status Accounting, and Audit/Verification.
  • Software Configuration Management at the point of release into the Product structure.
  • Provided C&DM input to Design Reviews and Certification (Configuration Baseline Management).
  • Configuration Management experience in the development of Safety-critical products.
