Principal Solicitor - Court of Protection Team

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Solicitor to join our leading Court of Protection Team at G2 Legal Limited.

As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional legal services to our clients. Your expertise and leadership skills will be essential in driving the performance of our practice areas, ensuring ongoing improvement, profitability, and expansion.

The Associate Director will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the department, meeting financial goals, and customer satisfaction metrics. You will also develop and implement standard operating procedures, assess current operations, and build a continuous improvement strategy to guarantee consistency of delivery within the domains.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the departmental budget in line with financial models to ensure that staff and project costs are within budget.
  • Oversee the day-to-day running of each department and report any major issues or threats to business profitability or reputation.
  • Run a caseload of files in the area of COP with compliance at all times with firm's risk charter as well as departmental strategy.
  • Identify and develop opportunities for business development and growth.
