Company Overview: Stride is a prominent organization specializing in property maintenance and housing solutions. We are currently seeking a skilled Plumbing Technician to join our dedicated team.

Position Summary: We are looking for an experienced Plumbing Technician to work on a full-time, permanent basis within our Property Maintenance Repairs Team. This role involves traveling to various locations, and as such, a company vehicle and fuel card will be provided to ensure convenience and efficiency.

Compensation and Benefits:

Key Responsibilities:

As a Plumbing Technician, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting plumbing repairs and performing multi-skilled maintenance tasks in residential properties according to scheduled work.
  • Executing repairs on domestic plumbing systems.
  • Installing and replacing sanitary ware, baths, shower trays, and associated fixtures.
  • Setting up kitchen sinks and new piping systems (copper, speed fit, waste, rainwater).
  • Installing various fixtures such as taps and ball valves.
  • Maintaining and repairing water supply systems, heating pipes, and drainage stop taps.
  • Installing and servicing domestic appliances, including showers and washing machines.
  • Overseeing maintenance and replacement of cold water storage tanks.

Qualifications: Candidates should possess a minimum of NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Plumbing, along with proven experience in all facets of this essential trade. A current CSCS card is preferred.

Work Schedule: This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours of work per week, with opportunities for additional earnings through call-out duties and overtime as needed.

Driving Requirements: Due to the nature of the role, a valid driving license with at least two years of driving experience is necessary, along with the ability to operate a company vehicle.
