Job Description

Guidant Global is recruiting on behalf of a highly recognized university for a Teaching and Learning Administrator for a 3-month contract duration with an immediate start.

Key Responsibilities
  • Course/Programme Administration
    • Deal with inquiries related to entry requirements and enrollment.
    • Assist in recruitment initiatives and publicity, including the coordination of Open Day events.
    • Coordinate start of session arrangements, including registration of new students and collation of welcome packs.
    • Manage the setup of induction week(s).
  • Exams and Assessment
    • Provide support on various exam-related tasks, including the processing of final marks and coordination of examination boards.
    • Track, collate, and coordinate exam papers as required.
    • Attend MSc examination boards and arrange room and catering bookings.
  • Student Records and Enquiries
    • Act as a first point of contact for students and provide information on procedures, regulations, and program choices.
    • Create and maintain student files.
    • Process course changes, withdrawals, and interruptions of study for students.
  • Committees, Meetings, and Reports
    • Produce results reports for designated courses and programs.
    • Service relevant committees, including the Staff Student Consultative Committee.
  • Administrative Support
    • Provide cover for other colleagues in busy periods or when staff are on annual or sick leave.
    • Assist the EASE Manager and others with meetings and enquiries.
Requirements
  • Qualifications, Experience, and Knowledge
    • Educated to A level standard or equivalent experience.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Computer literate, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and email.
    • Clear verbal and written communication skills.
    • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to liaise with a variety of people.
    • Ability to prioritize and organize own workload.
    • Ability to work under pressure and deal with high volumes of processing.
