About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Insurance Account Handler to join our team at Brown & Brown. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our clients, ensuring their needs are met, and their expectations are exceeded.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with day-to-day requirements, including managing relationships with key stakeholders and delivering outstanding service.
- Proactively develop a pipeline of referrals from existing clients to obtain new business opportunities.
- Work with clients to expand and develop their coverage, ensuring they have the right insurance solutions.
- Liaise with the broking and support team to ensure all documentation is accurate and compliant.
- Actively negotiate with Underwriters to secure the best terms for our clients.
- Work in a compliant and timely manner on all cases, ensuring retention levels and income targets are achieved.
- Collaborate with the regional management team to achieve business objectives and support the development of colleagues.
The Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for a candidate with a solid grounding in the Commercial Insurance market, who is looking to take the next step in their career. You will be able to communicate clearly and effectively with stakeholders at all levels, and have a strong skill set that includes:
- Strong communication (both written and verbal) and negotiation skills.
- Experience with insurance broking platforms, such as Acturis.
- Confidence in dealing with stakeholders at all levels.
