CNC Sliding Head Programmer Role
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled CNC Sliding Head Programmer to join our team at Kenton Black - Construction. As a CNC Sliding Head Programmer, you will be responsible for programming and operating various CNC Sliding Head Machines, producing high-quality components, and ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Programming and operating CNC Sliding Head Machines
- Producing high-quality components
- Loading and unloading of parts
- Manual inspection of parts using micrometers, verniers, and callipers
Requirements:
- Experience in operating, setting, and programming CNC Sliding Head Machines
- Experience with Star and Citizen Machines Fanuc Controls
- Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings
- Experience with machining of exotic materials
- Minimum of 2 years working within a precision engineering company
- High attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Apprentice-trained (preferable)
