Position Overview
We are in search of a skilled Strategic Account Executive to enhance our market footprint and fortify our connections with essential retail partners both domestically and globally. As part of our dynamic team, we seek individuals who possess a genuine enthusiasm for retail and are ready to actively represent our brand. The Strategic Account Executive will be tasked with overseeing and nurturing vital relationships with our key clients in the Mother & Baby industry, showcasing a solid background in account management, a comprehensive grasp of the retail landscape, and the capability to stimulate sales growth across diverse markets. You will act as the main liaison for key accounts, ensuring their requirements are fulfilled while aligning with the company’s objectives.
Core Responsibilities
Account Management:
- Establish and nurture robust relationships with key retail partners and distributors in both domestic and international markets.
- Act as the primary point of contact for designated accounts, delivering outstanding customer service and support.
- Spot opportunities to enhance existing accounts and broaden market share.
Sales Strategy Formulation:
- Craft and execute strategic account plans that resonate with overarching business goals.
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify and prioritize key accounts and opportunities.
- Track sales performance and modify strategies as necessary to surpass revenue objectives.
Market Insights:
- Perform market research to uncover trends, competitive landscapes, and customer preferences within the baby sector.
- Leverage data analytics to guide decision-making and generate actionable insights.
Collaboration & Communication:
- Work alongside marketing, product development, and logistics teams to ensure coherence in product offerings and promotions.
- Prepare and deliver regular reports on account performance, market trends, and competitive analysis to senior management.
Negotiation Skills:
- Negotiate contracts and sales terms to optimize profitability while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Oversee pricing strategies and promotional initiatives to bolster sales growth.
Client Engagement:
- Conduct regular visits to key accounts to strengthen relationships and gather insights into customer needs and expectations.
- Organize and participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events to promote the brand.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in account management, ideally within the consumer goods or baby sector.
- Strong comprehension of retail dynamics and experience collaborating with major retailers and distributors.
- Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to operate independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events.
