About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Manager to lead our Cockermouth shop. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a dedicated volunteer team, building strong connections within the local community, and driving the shop's success.
About You
You will be an exceptional leader with a strong understanding of what it takes to run a successful community-led shop. You will have a proven track record of managing teams, ideally in a retail or charity setting, and a passion for sustainable fashion. You will be able to motivate and inspire your team, build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders, and drive sales growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a team of volunteers to achieve sales targets and maintain a high level of customer service
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local community groups, schools, and businesses to promote the shop and its products
- Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to drive sales growth and increase brand awareness
- Manage the shop's finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
- Ensure the shop is always well-stocked, visually appealing, and meets the highest standards of quality and customer service
