We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Alina Homecare. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enabling individuals with learning disabilities to live independently and reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with daily tasks, such as attending appointments, going to day centres, and participating in social activities.
  • Support clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Help clients with medication management, including administering medication and collecting prescriptions.
  • Prepare healthy meals and snacks for clients, ensuring they maintain a balanced diet.
  • Accompany clients on day trips and outings, promoting social interaction and community engagement.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, helping them build confidence and self-esteem.
What You'll Need

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will also need to be flexible, patient, and able to work independently. While previous experience in a similar role is not necessary, you will need to be willing to undergo training and development to ensure you have the skills and knowledge required to deliver high-quality support.
