Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Advanced Practitioner to join our team at ThinkWorkforce.

The successful candidate will provide a quality minor injury/illness service to patients attending UTC as an independent and autonomous practitioner, while being supported by a team of other Nurses and GPs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership to band six and student Emergency Nurse Practitioners, assist in their supervision, development, and management.
  • Consult patients of all ages, including paediatrics.
  • Manage and prioritize workload effectively to meet the needs of the service.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge and skills in minor injury and illness management.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency as an experienced ENP within the speciality of minor injury and illness management.
  • Knowledge of Adastra and ability to complete training.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to drive service cars (if required).
Desirable Qualifications
  • Evidence of X-Ray Competencies.
  • Experience in suturing.
  • Palliative Care Experience.
  • Catheter skills/certificate (male and female).
