Compensation

About the Role
The Ethical Trading Initiative (ETI) is a prominent membership organization dedicated to addressing human rights challenges within supply chains. By collaborating with businesses, labor unions, and non-governmental organizations (NGOs), we are uniquely positioned to confront the issues faced by workers globally. Our mission is to assist enterprises in identifying and mitigating human rights risks within their supply chains through guidance and cooperative efforts across our membership.
Candidate Profile
We seek a visionary leader who excels in influencing and cultivating a shared vision that propels collective achievement. The ideal candidate will have extensive leadership experience, demonstrating a proven ability to translate strategic visions into tangible outcomes. As an effective communicator and facilitator, they will be skilled in fostering relationships and encouraging collaborative dialogue among a diverse array of stakeholders, including senior business leaders, labor unions, and NGOs.
Qualifications
The role requires experience in governance, ideally having served as a Chair or Board Member in organizations with significant impact. A comprehensive understanding of international human rights standards, labor regulations, ethical trade issues across various sectors and regions, along with a positive history of engagement with labor unions and civil society, is essential. The candidate should appreciate the unique contributions and perspectives of these groups, furthering ETI's mission for ethical trade.
