Job Summary

SmyanSoft LLC is seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing efficient DevOps solutions, setting up CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring high availability of our infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Configure Jenkins to optimize load distribution between master and slave nodes.
  • Establish and comprehend the CI pipeline using Code Star.
  • Conduct code build and implement static tests for quality and security.
  • Set up dynamic test configurations utilizing Selenium and other relevant tools.
  • Deploy product and infrastructure scanning measures for security. Develop post-deployment security strategies including PEN testing and utilization of RASP tools.
  • Ensure high availability (HA) of the pipeline and monitor its functionality.
  • Integrate composition analysis within the pipeline for comprehensive assessments.
  • Establish SCM and Artifacts repositories, managing branching, merging, and archiving.
  • Collaborate within an Agile environment using ALM tools like JIRA.
  • Develop DevOps processes in alignment with migrating large-scale SQL server and Microsoft-centric applications to Azure.
  • Possess an in-depth understanding of DevOps frameworks, tools, and metrics for streamlined build processes.
Requirements
  • Over 5 years of experience in designing DevOps solutions, setting up CI/CD pipelines, infra-automation, and monitoring tools.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science or related field; a Master's degree is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Linux fundamentals, shell scripting, YAML, Groovy, REST APIs, Java, Python programming, networking, and security protocols.
  • Expertise in automation tools such as Terraform, CHEF, or Ansible.
  • Hands-on experience with Terraform provisioning and deployment assistance.
  • Proficiency in configuring package repositories (Artifactory or Nexus) and managing deployments.
  • Skilled in Oracle and PostgreSQL database administration.
  • Proficient in Subversion and Git repository administration (GitHub).
  • Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), including resource setup.
  • Familiarity with continuous integration and delivery pipelines and related tools (GitLab CI/CD, GitOps, Kustomize/Helm, ArgoCD/FluxCD/Fleet).
  • Setup and maintenance of code quality tools (SonarQube).
  • Solid grasp of cloud concepts, especially Azure and AWS technologies.
  • Proficiency in monitoring tools and frameworks (ELK, Grafana/Loki, Prometheus, Splunk, Tableau).
  • Hands-on experience with infrastructure and application monitoring and analytics tools.
  • Expertise in AWS DevOps technologies, CodeBuild, CodePipeline, CodeDeploy & Xray.
  • Experience in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and previous involvement in DevSecOps implementation projects as an Engineer.
