Reporting to the Senior Procurement Manager, you will take charge of managing expenditure categories classified as Technology Partnerships and Software, with a substantial annual budget of approximately £9 million.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the assessment of suppliers during the onboarding process and execute the iProcurement strategy for category code management in alignment with the overarching Category strategy.
  • Ensure continuous supplier performance and manage supplier relationships throughout the contract duration, including contributions to the risk register and strategies for risk mitigation.
  • Engage with both internal and external stakeholders effectively.
This position is well-suited for a Category Lead Manager with a solid background in Software and IT.
Qualifications:
  • A proven history of employing strategic sourcing and category management methodologies.
  • Demonstrable experience in category management within a procurement or commercial setting, specifically in Software.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, showcasing a strong stakeholder management approach.
