Consultant Anaesthetist with a Special Interest in Obstetrics

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Anaesthetist with a special interest in Obstetrics to join our team at East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust. As a key member of our anaesthetics department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality anaesthetic care to patients undergoing obstetric procedures.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver anaesthetic services to patients in the maternity unit, including high-risk obstetric cases
- Work collaboratively with obstetricians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
- Develop and implement clinical guidelines and protocols for obstetric anaesthesia
- Contribute to the development of educational programs for junior anaesthetists and obstetricians
- Participate in clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
- Full registration with the GMC
- CCT in Anaesthesia (or proposed CCT date within 6 months of interview)
- FRCA or equivalent
- Higher Qualification: ND, PhD, MSc, MRCP
- Teaching Qualification
