Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Consultant Psychiatrist in Old Age Psychiatry to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality psychiatric care to our patients.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead the multidisciplinary team in providing excellent psychiatric care
  • Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment plans
  • Lead weekly MDT meetings and ensure prompt reviews of acutely unwell patients
  • Work closely with the CRHTT OP, community teams, and liaison services as patients move between these teams

  • Entry on the GMC Specialist Register
  • MRCPsych (or equivalent)
  • S12/AC approved
  • CCT in relevant specialty
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
  • MD or PhD
  • Experience of working in a community-facing team
  • Experience of research and service development
  • Clinical training and experience in delivery of psychotherapy modalities
