About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Chef Apprentice to join our team at Hungry Horse. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality food that meets our customers' expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook food to the highest standards, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish.
  • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations and guidelines.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery and meet customer needs.
  • Stay up-to-date with new products, menus, and promotions to provide expert knowledge and recommendations.

Apprenticeship Details
  • A 15-month apprenticeship program, including face-to-face and remote training sessions.
  • Regular reviews and feedback sessions with your Line Manager and Apprenticeship Trainer.
  • The opportunity to gain Functional Skills in English and maths (if not already held).
  • A Chef Apprenticeship Qualification upon completion of the program.
