Key Responsibilities
  • Client Portfolio Management: Manage a portfolio of clients, building strong relationships and providing expert financial guidance to ensure their financial well-being.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and review annual accounts, corporation tax computations, and VAT returns to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and constructive feedback to help them develop their skills and expertise.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies to minimize risk and maintain a high level of quality in our services.
  • Special Projects: Contribute to ad-hoc projects and special assignments as required, demonstrating your expertise in accounting, VAT, taxation, and general business advisory services.
Requirements
  • Experience: Ideally, 3 years of experience working within a UK accounting practice.
  • Qualifications: ACCA or ACA qualification would be advantageous, but QBE candidates will also be considered for this position.
  • Software Skills: Full software training will be provided, but knowledge of IRIS, Xero, and Sage would be an advantage.
  • Work Authorization: You must hold the right to fully work in the UK.
