Job Title: Platform/DevOps Engineer

At Stott and May, we are seeking a highly skilled Platform/DevOps Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud-based infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform or Cloud-formation
  • Develop and maintain scripts using languages such as Shell, Bash, or Python
  • Work with Linux, networking, routing, and firewalls
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of our infrastructure
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a similar role, such as platform engineer, DevOps, or SRE
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure as code and CI/CD tooling
  • Excellent scripting abilities and working knowledge of Linux, networking, and routing
Desirable Skills:
  • Configuration management tools such as Ansible
  • Cloud technology such as AWS
  • Docker and container runtime platforms such as Kubernetes
  • CI/CD tooling such as GitLab or Jenkins
