Job Title: Regulatory Affairs Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Affairs Manager to lead our Regulatory Affairs team and drive our regulatory change and engagement activities. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying opportunities for our business, ensuring we implement required changes, and engaging with our regulators.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the process to identify regulatory changes affecting our business, activities, and products or relevant to the markets we serve.
  • Educate and support our organisation's understanding of the regulatory environment, especially where this will benefit Senior Managers and Certified Persons in maintaining standards of compliance.
  • Work with our Government Affairs team to influence the thinking of regulators in areas of strategic importance to Experian.
  • Operate a process for the analysis, oversight, and management of regulatory change, driving timely delivery across the organisation.
  • Manage Experian's daily relationship with regulators, coordinating our responses to requests for information, supporting with drafting of consultation responses, and managing direct engagements between 1LoD and the FCA/ICO.

Requirements

  • Experience of engagement with FCA or other UK regulators.
  • An understanding of the regulatory environment in the UK, including important areas such as SMCR, the permissions regime, Consumer Duty, operational resilience, and outsourcing.
  • Skills to influence senior stakeholders to deliver at pace.
  • A collaborative and open mindset, and ability to lead multiple strands of activity with a range of key stakeholders.
