Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and confident HGV Fitter to work on our wide range of commercial vehicles, maintaining our large fleet of HGV & LGV transport to a high standard. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our vehicles, as well as completing paperwork and adhering to risk assessments and method statements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain our large fleet of HGV & LGV vehicles to a high standard
  • Complete paperwork following any maintenance activities
  • Work as part of a team or remotely and adapt your skills to other areas when required
  • Work safely in compliance with risk assessments and method statements and be willing to challenge any unsafe practices
Requirements:

We are looking for a professional and confident candidate who has experience in commercial vehicles and electrical systems. You will have excellent communication skills and be able to work in a fast-paced, busy environment. You must have a full UK driving license, City and Guilds 1, 2 and 3 or equivalent NVQ in standard motor mechanics. Knowledge of cranes, white lining equipment and hydraulic systems is desirable.
