About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate English Teacher to join our team at New Rickstones Academy. As a key member of our English department, you will play a vital role in delivering excellent teaching and learning, and developing our students into well-rounded young people.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach English Language and Literature to students at Key Stage 3, GCSE, and A Level
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the needs of our students
  • Assess and provide feedback to students on their progress
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement a new and ambitious Key Stage 3 curriculum
  • Contribute to the development of our students' character and mastery

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Experience of teaching English Language and Literature to students at Key Stage 3, GCSE, and A Level
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A passion for teaching and learning
