About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi Skilled Joiner to join our Property Maintenance and Construction Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for undertaking all joinery repairs and associated multi skilled repairs to both domestic and commercial properties to a high-quality standard.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will have a flexible approach and experience of working within a domestic and commercial property maintenance and target driven environment. You will have excellent customer service skills and be able to engage with all stakeholders of the service, acting as an Ambassador of Bernicia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake all joinery repairs and associated multi skilled repairs to both domestic and commercial properties to a high-quality standard.
  • Deliver an excellent customer service to all stakeholders, including tenants and colleagues.
  • Engage with all stakeholders of the service, acting as an Ambassador of Bernicia.
  • Contribute positively to change and adapt to new ways of working to improve and enhance the customer experience.

Requirements:

  • Sound working knowledge of your trade discipline and the wider building construction sector.
  • City and Guilds Craft Certificate in Joinery or equivalent.
  • Appropriate CSCS card and full driving licence.
  • Experience of working in a customer-focused environment where the customer comes first.
