Traffic Signal Project Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Traffic Signal Project Manager to join our team at South Gloucestershire Council. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting and delivering projects related to the design, commissioning, construction, maintenance, and asset management of traffic signals in South Gloucestershire.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in the detailed design of traffic signal projects, including consultation and project management.
- Conduct site inspections to assess the operations of traffic signal equipment and maintain traffic signals, telematics, and Intelligent Transport Systems installations.
- Provide technical support to remote monitoring systems, managing telemetry.
- Develop and deliver traffic signal strategies and policies, and manage traffic signal maintenance, ensuring conditions and performance are met.
- Assist in budgeting and estimating related works/projects.
- Level 4 Associate Project Manager apprenticeship and APM Project Management Qualification (PMQ).
- Basic skills assessment as part of the selection process.
- 10-minute presentation as part of the recruitment process.
We offer a highly transferable set of knowledge and skills, which you gain by working with us. The apprenticeship training will consist of virtual classroom and workplace learning.
