An outstanding opportunity has emerged for a skilled Mobile Maintenance Electrician to become part of a prominent Facilities Management organization operating throughout the South Wales region.

The ideal applicant will possess a robust electrical background and hold relevant electrical certifications, such as NVQ/SVQ Level 3 in electrical installations or maintenance, along with the 18th Edition qualification as a minimum requirement.

This position involves collaborating with a team across various locations, performing a diverse array of building maintenance tasks. The primary objective of this role is to execute both planned and reactive maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems. The work environments will encompass retail outlets, residential care facilities, corporate offices, hospitality venues, fitness centers, and more.



Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist fellow technicians with both major and minor maintenance tasks.
  • Complete all necessary Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance schedules within agreed timelines, ensuring all required documentation is accurately filled out.
  • Prioritize and finalize minor maintenance and repair tasks within set timeframes.
  • Ensure that all tools and equipment needed for minor maintenance and repairs are consistently available and in good working condition.
  • While primarily assigned to a specific area for PPM completion, there may be occasions when the Technician is required to attend other sites within the cluster to perform work.
  • Collaborate with company and client colleagues to uphold established quality standards at all times.
  • Represent the organization in a professional manner consistently and foster positive working relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Execute all tasks in accordance with specific Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Qualifications:
  • NVQ/SVQ Level 3 in electrical installations / Parts 1 & 2
  • Or recognized apprenticeship equivalent
  • 18th Edition
Compensation Package:
  • Base Salary - £37,440 plus standby payment
  • Travel expenses covered from door to door
  • Overtime Rates
  • Call Out - 1 in 6 / 7 (retainer paid in addition to salary)
  • 23 days of annual leave (increasing to 26 with length of service) plus 8 public holidays
  • Company vehicle with private usage and fuel card
