Financial Analyst

Investigo is seeking a skilled Credit Controller to join our team in Potters Bar. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing our sales ledger accounts, ensuring timely reconciliation and resolution of unallocated cash balances.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reconciliation and Cash Management: Reconcile sales ledger accounts, collate and bank all finance cheques, and resolve unallocated cash balances in a timely manner.
- Debt Recovery: Chase invoices by phone or email to reduce debtor balances and debtor days, and produce an updated analysis of overdue debt.
- Financial Administration: Set up new standing orders and renew existing ones annually or as necessary, and reduce the number of customers paying by cheque.
- Query Resolution: Resolve invoice and billing queries and refer internally for timely resolution, and send communication to customers as per business needs.
- Compliance and Governance: Understand and apply GDPR when dealing with customers and data recording/storage, and assist with internal and external audit requirements as instructed.
- Stakeholder Management: Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and support senior management with query/invoice/payment updates.
- Performance Metrics: Ensure monthly cash and overdue debt KPIs are achieved.
