Job Summary:

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced conveyancer to join our team at TSR Legal Recruitment in Wellington. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for undertaking all aspects of fee-earning work with the required skills and knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Matters on Behalf of Clients: You will conduct matters on behalf of clients professionally, ensuring service quality to protect against complaints.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: You will comply with relevant rules and regulations, including SRA and COLP/COFA Rules, and the firm's Policies and Procedures.
  • File Management and Case Management: You will manage files to a high standard, maintaining accurate file management and using case management systems effectively.
  • Software Utilization: You will utilize software such as Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word for various tasks.
  • Team Leadership and Support: You will supervise fee-earning work and manage support services, including para-legal/secretary/assistant supervision.
  • Marketing and Business Development: You will participate in marketing activities and contribute material for the firm's website.
  • Financial Management: You will ensure financial control through effective cash-flow management and billing procedures.
  • Communication and Collaboration: You will maintain clear and concise written communications, meeting all deadlines and responding promptly to calls.
  • Professional Development: You will stay updated with legal changes, engage in compliance training, and maintain professional standards and accreditations.
