We are seeking a skilled and motivated Care Services Manager to join a well-regarded care organization recognized for its high standards by regulatory bodies.
This crucial role involves ensuring the provision of exceptional care services that adhere to all regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the service to align with Regulatory Commissioners and organizational standards.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality services in accordance with assessments and support plans.
- Develop detailed, outcome-focused support plans for all service users.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews, providing thorough reports.
- Supervise and evaluate staff performance in line with company policies.
- Manage CQC inspections and monitor local authority contracts.
- Conduct in-depth investigations into HR and safeguarding issues.
- Guarantee person-centred support and regular evaluations of service delivery.
- Uphold high standards of health and hygiene for service users.
- Provide management support and facilitate staff development and training.
- Ensure adequate staffing levels and staff competency.
- Maintain precise records and ensure compliance with legislative requirements.
- Implement company policies and procedures while maintaining quality assurance.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior role supporting adults with learning disabilities and challenging behaviors.
- Proven ability to lead a team and promote person-centred care.
- Experience in developing outcome-based support plans and conducting staff supervisions and performance evaluations.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate with various professionals.
- Basic IT proficiency.
- Flexibility to work on short notice and participate in an on-call rota.
- Level 5 qualification in Health and Social Care or working towards it.
- Must possess a valid driving license and confirm the right to work in the UK.
- Subject to a satisfactory disclosure from the Disclosure & Barring Service.
Desirable Skills:
- Previous experience as a Registered Manager.
- Experience in supporting individuals with learning disabilities and related health needs.
- Ability to communicate using Makaton.
