Job Title: Broadcast Services Specialist

Encompass Digital Media, Inc. is a global leader in managed services for the media and entertainment industry. We are seeking a highly skilled Broadcast Services Specialist to join our team in Chiswick, London.

Job Summary:

The Broadcast Services Specialist will be responsible for delivering exceptional technical services to our clients, ensuring seamless content delivery and network operations. This is an operationally hands-on role with a focus on customer relationship management, incident management, and technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the technical authority in the Fixed Services MCR, providing support to the service desk and ensuring compliance with Service Level Agreements.
  • Oversee the technical aspects of MCR services, ensuring customer content and network operations are delivered within specification.
  • Manage third-party vendors and perform regular service reviews to maintain high service quality.
  • Produce monthly reports with detailed analysis of service availability and trend analysis to identify ongoing faults.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure Encompass delivers an outstanding technical service to its customers.
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years' experience working in a Master Control Room, Network Operations Centre, or similar Broadcast Operations role involving signal routing and distribution.
  • Deep understanding of service delivery management, customer service, collaboration, and relationship building skills.
  • Knowledge of service level agreements (SLAs) and incident management processes.
  • Experience with IT systems specific to broadcasting, including encoding/decoding, transport stream analysis, IP delivery, and fiber connectivity.
  • Experience with satellite broadcasting, including uplink/downlink, spectrum analysis, and carrier monitoring.
