About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sanitation Specialist to join our team at David Wood Foods in Scarborough. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness throughout our facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out scheduled daily cleaning tasks to maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Clean and sanitize processing equipment and production lines to meet required standards
- Conduct deep cleaning of production areas to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Perform post-cleaning checks to ensure all tasks are completed to a high standard
- Maintain accurate records of cleaning and maintenance activities
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure effective communication and teamwork
- Report any incidents or environmental concerns to your line manager
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar role within a food manufacturing environment
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
