Job Title: MOT Tester/Technician

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Location: Flexible, with the possibility of working from home

Salary: £30,000 - £32,000+ DOE

Hours: 41.5 hours per week

Shift Pattern:

  • Monday to Friday: 8:30 AM - 6:00 PM
  • Saturday: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (with a day off during the week)
  • Optional Sunday shifts from 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM, with overtime pay added to your annual salary on a rota basis every other week.

Holiday Entitlement: 28 days per year, plus bank holidays

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced MOT Tester/Technician to join our team at Venatu Recruitment Group. As an MOT Tester/Technician, you will be responsible for conducting thorough vehicle inspections and testing to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and testing to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Diagnose and repair vehicle faults, as necessary
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve business objectives

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications and experience in MOT testing and vehicle repair
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including Saturdays and Sundays
