About the Role

Safran Landing Systems is a world leader in aircraft landing and braking systems, committed to safer, more sustainable aviation for current and future generations. Our Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) organisation partners with global customers, including major airlines such as British Airways, easyJet, and Air Canada.

Key Responsibilities

  • Investigate technical issues impacting manufacturing on site, working alongside the Facilities & Maintenance team.
  • Conduct research, collect data, and collaborate with the F&M and Project teams to design, build, and test solutions to improve equipment availability and efficiency.
  • Cover an integrated maintenance process, including operator first-line maintenance, planned preventative maintenance, root cause analysis, predictive maintenance, and provision of spares.
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities to reduce shop processing times and manufacturing hours.

Requirements

  • Experienced qualified engineer or engineering graduate.
  • Good knowledge of machining and electroplating processes desirable.
  • Ability to read and understand specifications and regulatory documentation.
  • Effective organisation and planning skills, with the ability to manage personal workload.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, and high attention to detail.
  • Good IT skills, mathematical skills, and team working ethics.
