Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing mechanical systems and solutions for our clients in the energy and renewable sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop mechanical systems and solutions for energy and renewable projects
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure mechanical systems meet project requirements
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and specifications
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure mechanical systems are installed and functioning correctly
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent qualification
  • Incorporated or Chartered with the Institution of Mechanical Engineers or equivalent
  • Experience in specifying pipework, pressure vessels, mechanical items, valves, plant equipment, and materials of construction
  • Strong understanding of process requirements and ability to interpret P&ID's
  • Working knowledge of ASME, ASTM, ISO, MSS, and EU standards relating to process pipework
  • Experience using AutoCAD (Plant 3D desirable) or equivalent
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • At least three years of relevant working experience in an engineering design field
