Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Yard Operative to join our team at CastleView Group. As a Yard Operative, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our yard, workshop, and storage areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cleaning and Preparing Equipment: Ensure all equipment is clean and ready for use.
- Inventory Management: Check and store off-hired equipment, and maintain accurate records.
- Yard Maintenance: Maintain a clean and safe working environment, including the yard, workshop, and storage areas.
- Customer Liaison: Liaise with customers on a day-to-day basis when loading and unloading equipment.
- Unload Vehicles: Unload vehicles as required, ensuring all equipment is properly secured.
- Yard Organization: Keep yard areas tidy, and ensure containers are filled and compacted correctly.
- General Yard Duties: Perform general yard duties as required, including putting stock away.
Requirements:
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment as required.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise with customers and colleagues.
What We Offer:
- Competitive Salary: £11.44 per hour, with occasional overtime at £17.16.
- 37 Hours per Week: Monday to Friday, 8am - 4pm, with occasional Saturdays.
