The Role: 7.5 Tonne Driver

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic 7.5 tonne driver to join our team. You will play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive their orders promptly and efficiently, contributing to their satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate a range of vehicles up to and including 7.5 tonnes with professionalism and consideration.
  • Deliver bespoke products to customers in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery times and expectations.
  • Travel throughout the UK, following assigned routes that may vary based on order requirements.
  • Assist customers with loading and unloading their products as needed.
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of all components to the correct recipients.
  • Conduct daily vehicle checks, documenting any defects or safety concerns.
  • Adhere to DVLA regulations and demonstrate consideration for other road users.
  • Participate actively in any training programs provided.
  • Be prepared for occasional overnight stays as required.
Requirements:
  • Valid UK Driving Licence.
  • Digital Tacho Card.
  • Driver Qualification Card (CQC).
  • Up-to-date Driver CPC.
  • Willingness to undertake overnight stays when necessary.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Reliability and a flexible approach, as travel may involve visiting various company sites within the UK or abroad.
