About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Care Officer to join our Supported Housing Team at East Riding of Yorkshire Council. As a Care Officer, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with learning disabilities and autism to live independent lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support care staff to ensure excellent outcomes for tenants
  • Liaise and work positively with families and other care professionals to achieve individualized care plans
  • Contribute to the day-to-day operational management of the Beechwood service
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders to ensure seamless care delivery

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a care or community setting
  • Good awareness of fundamental CQC standards
  • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and Bank holidays
  • Ability to supervise and support others
