WEEK 1: Monday to Friday 6am-2pm / WEEK 2: Monday to Thursday 2pm-10.30pm / Friday 2pm-7.30pm

Role Overview:
As a CNC Machinist, you will be integral to our client's manufacturing operations.

Utilizing state-of-the-art CNC equipment, you will be tasked with setting up and operating machinery to produce high-precision components efficiently.

Your proficiency in CNC operations will be crucial in achieving outstanding production outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC multi-tasking lathes to manufacture components from raw materials.
• Ensure that products meet the highest quality standards before they proceed to assembly.
• Produce small to medium-sized components within designated timelines.
• Inspect work against engineering drawings using various measuring tools.
• Report quality issues to the machine shop supervisor.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks on machinery.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, promptly addressing any issues.
• Enhance efficiencies by minimizing setup and cycle times, as well as monitoring tool life.
• Perform de-burring, cleaning, and final inspections of products.
• Complete necessary documentation to ensure traceability.
• Undertake additional tasks as required.

Experience and Skills Required:
• Proficient in operating CNC machine tools.
• Demonstrated experience in setting and operating CNC lathes, ideally with a minimum of 4 axes.
• Familiarity with reading and editing FANUC programs.
• Background in low batch component manufacturing.
• Ability to interpret and understand technical drawings.
• Competence in using various measuring instruments to verify accuracy.
• Capacity to perform repetitive tasks over extended periods.
• Knowledge of twin spindle machine operations is advantageous.
• Experience working to AS9100 aerospace quality standards is a plus.
