Pork Packing Operative

We are currently recruiting for full-time Afternoon Shift Operatives to work in our Bulk Pork Packing Department at our Westerleigh site. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe production of high-quality pork products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with the Bulk Pork Packing Supervisor to meet production deadlines and maintain a safe working environment.
- Participate in role-specific training to develop your skills and knowledge, and stay up-to-date with best practices in the industry.
- Take ownership of your work and contribute to the success of the team by working effectively and efficiently.
- Comply with health, safety, and hygiene regulations at all times, and report any issues or concerns to management.
- Maintain responsibility for the operational effectiveness of equipment and machinery, and report any faults or issues to management in a timely manner.
- Adhere to Company policy and procedures on safe food handling and hygiene, and maintain personal PPE at all times.
- Perform any other reasonable duties assigned to meet business needs, and be flexible in your approach to work.
Key Requirements:
- Previous experience in a food production environment is desirable, although training is provided.
- Willingness to learn and develop your skills in semi-skilled roles, and progress within the company.
- Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
