Role: Cybersecurity Operations Analyst x 2
Location: Cheltenham
Onsite presence required
Compensation: £650 - £700 within IR35 regulations
Our organization is seeking to enhance its Security Operations Center (SOC) team by bringing on board two additional analysts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize security expertise to assess and investigate alerts generated by Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems.
- Engage actively in team discussions and contribute to problem-solving initiatives.
Required Experience:
Proven experience in Security Operations Monitoring is essential, preferably with familiarity in tools such as Microsoft Sentinel and Google Chronicle. Experience in Security Threat Hunting is advantageous.
Core Duties:
- Monitor and evaluate security events and incidents to detect potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with various teams to ensure effective remediation of security incidents.
- Stay informed about the latest trends and technologies in security to proactively mitigate emerging threats.
