Credit Controller

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled Credit Controller to join Page Personnel on a fixed-term contract basis for 12 months to cover a maternity leave. The role is office-based and requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Effective management of credit limits and timely collection of customer payments
- Investigation of held orders that require manual release and reconciliation of customer accounts
- Keeping accurate history notes on customer accounts and liaising with internal and external customers
- Query resolution and cover with allocation of payments during holidays/sickness
- Review of new accounts set up by Sales and informing the Credit Manager of any potential Bad Debt
- Covering the Credit Manager in their absence
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Knowledge of Credit Control processes and reporting
- Experience with accounting systems
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Good organisation and time management skills
- Ability to multi-task and work to deadlines
- Willingness to phone and speak directly to customers
- Ability to work under own initiative and be proactive
- To be able to build effective working relationships at all levels
- Immediate start
