About the Role:

We are looking for a Principal Systems Engineer with expertise in Electromagnetics and Low observability, focusing on Electro-Optical and multi-mode Sensor systems in Precision Guidance. Our team is responsible for developing cutting-edge technology in EO/LO, working on major equipment programmes and research projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Progress technology maturation, modelling, and simulation to enhance our EO/LO capabilities
  • Analyse and communicate signature predictions to inform design decisions
  • Engage in electromagnetic modelling and trial measurements to validate our designs
  • Present results through reports and presentations to stakeholders
  • Provide technical guidance and promote best practices within the team

Requirements:

We are looking for a candidate with expertise in:

  • Signature reduction for Electro-Optical sensors
  • Radar Cross Section (RCS) analysis
  • RCS Trials planning

About You:

Ideal candidates will have a STEM degree and experience in:

  • Radar cross section reduction and RF antenna design
  • Electro-optics and RADAR
  • LO modelling & predictions
  • Systems Engineering knowledge

Skills in Electromagnetics disciplines such as Low Observables, Stealth Technology, and Electromagnetic Capability are highly valued.
