Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled Preconstruction Manager to oversee the pre-award phase of projects within the water sector. This position is ideal for an experienced professional looking to advance their career in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the preparation and submission of tender proposals for water infrastructure projects.
  • Collaborate closely with the Estimating Team to ensure timely delivery of both technical and commercial bid components.
  • Work within a dedicated preconstruction team, engaging with construction delivery teams prior to contract finalization.
  • Manage the preconstruction design process, coordinating with design managers based on project complexity.
  • Oversee interactions with various teams, including Estimators, Construction Managers, and Planning Managers.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in the water sector is preferred; however, candidates with a background in civil engineering or highways may also be considered.
  • Demonstrated extensive site experience and a strong foundation in preconstruction processes.
  • Proven track record in bid writing and submissions.
  • Previous employment with a main contractor is advantageous.
