Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supervising Social Worker to join our team at NonStop Consulting. As a Supervising Social Worker, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance and support to foster carers, assessing and monitoring their performance, and conducting home visits to ensure the well-being of children in their care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and monitor foster carers to ensure they meet the required standards
  • Provide expert guidance and support to foster carers to help them improve their practice
  • Conduct home visits to assess the safety and suitability of foster carers' homes
  • Develop and implement plans to address any issues or concerns identified during assessments or home visits
  • Collaborate with other professionals, such as social workers and therapists, to ensure a comprehensive approach to supporting foster carers and children

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Social Work or a related field
  • Experience as a Supervising Social Worker, preferably in a fostering agency or local authority
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
