Position Overview:

In the role of Electrical Calibration Specialist, you will be tasked with the calibration of electrical and mechanical torque, force, and pressure measuring instruments within a UKAS-accredited facility. Additionally, you will perform onsite calibrations at client locations approximately 25% of your working time.

Your Main Duties Will Include:

  • Ensuring calibration processes comply with BS EN ISO 17025:2017 standards
  • Maintaining precise measurement outcomes and producing calibration documentation
  • Offering technical guidance and assistance to clients
  • Reviewing and endorsing calibration documentation and reports
  • Collaborating with senior management to enhance laboratory productivity

Candidate Profile:

To excel in this position, you should ideally hold a qualification in electrical calibration, electrical systems, or electronics. However, candidates with substantial hands-on experience in electrical calibration, electronics, or electrical maintenance will also be considered.

A strong attention to detail, a systematic work approach, and exceptional problem-solving abilities are crucial. You should also possess strong communication skills to foster effective relationships with clients.

Compensation Package:

In recognition of your expertise, you will receive a competitive salary ranging from £25,000 to £35,000 per annum, depending on your experience, along with additional benefits. You will also have the opportunity to progress your career within a growing organization.
