Executive Pastry Chef

C&N Recruitment Services Limited is seeking a skilled Pastry Chef to join their team at an independent award-winning restaurant. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic and ambitious team that strives for perfection in their culinary creations.
Job Responsibilities:- Kitchen Operations: Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations, preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes, as well as managing the pastry section.
- Staff Management: Lead and mentor demi chefs, providing guidance and support to foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Food Preparation: Ensure all food is prepared to the highest quality standards, following recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Menu Planning: Collaborate with the Head Chef in menu planning, development, and execution, considering seasonal ingredients, customer preferences, and cost control.
- Inventory & Cost Management: Monitor stock levels, order supplies, and manage portion and waste control to maintain margins and budgets.
- Health and Safety: Maintain strict adherence to culinary standards, health and safety regulations, and cleanliness for a safe work environment.
We are looking for a professional who is energetic, positive, and punctual, with an excellent eye for detail. The ideal candidate will be driven by delivering the highest levels of service to our guests, passionate about cooking, and able to work effectively as part of a team. Our client can assist with relocating and offers a flexible schedule, with the restaurant open Wednesday evenings to Sunday lunch, and Monday and Tuesday off.
